Hi I'm Tre Candland

I grew up as a member in San Tan Valley, Arizona, teaching the gospel in the Kansas Wichita mission, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm serving a full time mission, love basketball and baseball, love to write and read, and I love to act for drama.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have had some serious trials in my life and I know wouldn't have made it through those struggles without the love this Gospel brings me. I have seen this world, and it is falling apart, with wickedness painted as goodness. I know through the Savior Jesus Christ, we can change. I know how hard it is to stay in the same place we are in and not go anywhere. Christ removes all and any obstacles that are stopping us and helps us over come those we need to overcome. He leads us by the hand and truly succors his people. I have fallen, but the Lord Jesus Christ doesn't care how many times you fall, but how many times you will pick yourself up and move forward. The Book of Mormon testifies of Christ's Atonement and his love. I encourage and shout all you nations struggling in unbelief to study and pray about this book and call on his name to find out if it is true. If you know like I do, you will not doubt. Only believe

How I live my faith

I attend my church activities and meetings as best as possible and I'm preparing to serve a full time mission for the church. I teach the youth and try to go home teaching as much as possible. Now, as a full time missionary for the church, I apply the Gospel of the Savior to hundreds of people's lives, and help them see why God loves them and how they can Follow Him

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon temples? What goes on in Mormon temples?

Tre Candland
It's not secret, but sacred. In the Old Testament, only Levites were allowed into the tabernacle to do sacred ordinances or ceremonies that benefited the children of Israel. We learn and are able to partake of the blessings of eternal families and such and perform ordinances for those who have passed on before they could receive it. Show more Show less

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Tre Candland
The meaning of the Atonement of our Savior is a personal and significant thing, to difficult to explain to everyone. In the Book of Mormon, a prophet named Alma expounds upon the atonement. He talks about how He (Christ) suffered for all things. Sorrow, sin and infirmities. (Alma 7:11-13) I've found for myself that the Atonement is the Gift that removes the guilt and weight of sin and the escape we need from sorrow and pain. He was the only one capable, and we must except the fact that we are in capable to handle sin on our. He is the Messiah and the Savior and Redeemer. Show more Show less
