Hi I'm Kaylie

I'm an outdoor lover, smiling is the best thing, can't go wrong with music. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am currently a student at Utah State University. Throughout my life my family and I have traveled to many countries and lived outside of the country for a year. Seeing the world and learning new things is a definite way to appreciate all that God has given us. I enjoy anything outdoors. Hiking, biking, running, walking, camping, 4 wheeling... You name it. Throughout high school I was a swimmer and played Water Polo. Two of the best sports in my opinion. Living a healthy lifestyle is one of the greatest things for the mind and body. Even if it means drinking my dad's nasty greenshakes every day. I am a HUGE movie lover. If I'm not careful, I could spend an entire day having a movie marathon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I can't imagine not having the Gospel in my life. It gives me strength every single day during the hard times and the good times. The gospel is SO GOOD. And it's SO HAPPY. And who doesn't love to be happy?? Knowing that I can live with my family for eternity, feel my Savior's love constantly, and be forgiven for all the dumb things I do because I'm human and make mistakes? Who wouldn't want that? I love the happiness I get from being Mormon and seeing the joy that the gospel brings to so many people. No matter how far I feel I have gone from my Savior at times, He is always right by my side. I have never felt Him abandon me and I know He never will. It's truly amazing to have that knowledge of always having someone with me to lead and help me. The Savior suffered for each one of us and wants us to come unto Him. All we have to do is follow Him and trust us. He knows us more than anyone else in our lives and sometimes even better than we know our self because he has truly felt every single pain and feeling that we have and will feel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every week. I always try to take something home from each meeting that I can apply to my life. I also try to read my scriptures, say my prayers.. etc. daily. I've learned that to truly live my faith, it has to be a constant effort, and not just every Sunday at church. I live my faith by using the atonement every single day. Constantly repenting, constantly feeling my Savior's love and constantly finding comfort in my life from the one person who has really felt everything I feel.
