Hi I'm Megan Jones

I grew up in Utah, I love being with my family, and I have big hopes for the future! But most importantly, I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have plethora of interests, but my overall favorite things on this earth are my family, the temple, and my mission! I am currently fulfilling my lifelong dream of serving a mission in Cleveland, Ohio and the visitors' center in Kirtland. I absolutely love it. :) So, for me, life's good!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both LDS so I was born into the gospel (so grateful). I grew up with it and lived by its precepts, but I wasn't personally converted until I was about 15 years old. That was when it clicked for me - my Savior is my brother. I'd always been taught that we were all children of God and that Christ is not an exception, but when I pondered the thought of one of my brothers (or sisters for that matter) sacrificing themselves for me the way that Christ did... I changed. It became real to me. Ever since then I have anchored everything I do around my testimony of my Savior, and I have grown SO much as a result! I love this gospel more than I have words to describe! It has given me peace, strength, joy, and comfort in times where nothing else could.

How I live my faith

I have lived my faith in lots of little ways throughout my life, but the best one (in my opinion) is my mission. I am currently serving in the Ohio Cleveland mission, additionally serving in the Historic Kirtland Visitors' Center. Where do I begin? Serving a mission for our Savior has been the best thing I have ever experienced. Don't get me wrong, it's plenty hard; but there's something about being able to see the gospel of Jesus Christ - the thing that changed my life for good - change the hearts of God's children to help them come to know their Redeemer that has been enriching beyond belief. It's impossible to describe, but serving the people here in Ohio (and whomever comes in to the Visitors' Center) has quickly taken the #1 spot of my favorite things to do. When you're this close to the Savior, you can't help but love life a little. :) God has given my life purpose, and seeing it flow into the lives of others firsthand has been the highlight of my life to date. :)
