Hi I'm Jon Clark

I grew up in Idaho. I'm an adrenaline junky. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to get my adrenaline pumping. From riding dirt bikes, cruising on road bikes, and riding snowmobiles in the backcountry, I love it all. I am a gear head and love to be in my shop wrenching on mine and other peoples vehicles. If I don't know how it works, I will tear it apart to figure it out. My pickup is lifted and does roll coal. When I have time, I do read self motivating books. I have an associates degree in General Business and I love to work with money. I love learning new skills and am trying to become as versatile as I possibly can.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. I was baptized at 8 years old and attended all church meetings faithfully all through high school. It was expected of me. As soon as I graduated, I went to the oil fields and started slacking in my church duties. Eventually I started making some bad choices and stopped my church attendance for good. And I hit a low spot in my life. Thanks to some awesome members, I got my life back on track and became active again. And because of our loving Savior and His atonement, I was able to become worthy and let the gospel back into my life. And its become a changing point in my life. I am a Mormon because I know that the Atonement is real and Christ has paid the price for our sins. Ive come to know of his love for me, despite the many mistakes I make, he is still willing to forgive me time and time again. I want others to come unto him and know of his love and his forgiveness. Which is why I decided to turn in my mission papers, and am currently preparing to serve in the Philippines Cebu mission. We have a loving Heavenly Father, a Loving Savior, and the Holy Ghost. And a plan of salvation. And there are blessings so great that are in store for us if we will but come unto Christ and this gospel with our hearts. That is why I am a Mormon

How I live my faith

For the last year, I have been a Sunday school teacher, teaching the 7-8 year olds. Originally, it had been a calling to help me be at church every Sunday and to make sure I stayed to all 3 hours of church. Eventually, it became more than that as I have grown to love the children and have learned more from them than I have taught. I have become extremely thankful for all the teachers and for the youth of my ward. There was a point in my life where the gospel wasn't a part of my life. And I am beyond grateful that it is now the big part of my life that it is.
