Hi I'm Steve DeJohn

My father was a Catholic, my mother was a Baptist, I am a Mormon

About Me

I have a degree in business, a masters degree in marketing, and worked in Consumer Products Sales and Marketing for 42 years. I served in the USAF during the Vietnam era. I am married with children and grandchildren. My hobby is flying general aviation aircraft.

Why I am a Mormon

I am grateful to the missionaries who taught me about the apostasy during the dark ages, and of the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They taught me that Joseph Smith was chosen as a Prophet of the Lord to accomplish this work. I am grateful for the translation of the Book of Mormon by President Smith as it is another testament of Jesus Christ. I am grateful that we are lead today by a living Prophet. I am grateful for my testimony of the atonement of Jesus Christ for all of our transgressions, and for His forgiveness, and the opportunity we all have to start anew and walk in righteousness. It is never too late to accept this truthfulness. I have been to many other churches before being baptized at 44 years old and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The Savior Jesus Christ is the head of this Church and we are lead by His living Prophet. The Book of Mormon is another Testament of Jesus Christ, AND this is a Christian Church, of this I Testify.

How I live my faith

I was baptized at the age of 44 and have served ever since in a variety of church callings; High Priest Group Leader, High Council Representative, First Counselor in a Bishopric, Bishop, and now looking forward to a full time missionary assignment for the Church.
