Hi I'm Hyrum

I've moved 6 times. I graduated from high school a semester early. I'm on a mission in Jakarta Indonesia. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I play the drums, saxophone and the piano. Hobbies include ping-pong, foosball, composing music, and just hanging out with friends. I've visited Hawai'i, Puerto Rico and Canada. I've received my Eagle Scout award and my Duty to God award. I'm on my mission right now serving in Indonesia.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family. Ever since I can remember, I've felt this is the true church. I've felt the spirit many times in my life. I've felt it confirm that the Book of Mormon, current latter-day prophets, and new revelation is all true and will help us progress through our life. I have had questions about the church. Through studying church manuals, reading the scriptures and praying, I have found the answers to these questions. These answers have been confirmed to me by the spirit.

How I live my faith

During the Summer of 2015, I took part in a H.E.F.Y. (Humanitarian Experience for Youth) service trip. I, along with about 20 other LDS youth, traveled to Lima, Peru. While we were there, we helped finish construction of a community center and helped build additions to a medical facility. We interacted with the people and got to experience their unique culture through activities and other gatherings. I'm loving the opportunity to serve the Lord on a mission in Jakarta Indonesia. I've never grown so much in the gospel than ever before.
