Hi I'm Randy Vuyk

I am a construction contractor. I love the outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking, etc. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of 4 boys. Our favorite family outing is a yearly hunting and camping trip together. It is a tradition started by my mother and father over fifty years ago. I have only missed a couple of years through that time. I am a construction contractor and have the privilege of working with some of my sons daily. I love the mountains and any activity that can take me there.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe in the "good news" our church brings! I know that our Heavenly Father has a plan for me, just as He does for you. There is a purpose for each of us in this life, and God is there for us as we follow Him. I've known from a young age that living this faith makes me and my family happy. I am more confident in who I am and what I can do, less frustrated when I face life challenges, and at peace when I need comfort. This church has changed my life for the better!

How I live my faith

Our church's family-centered perspective should make Latter-day Saints strive to be the best parents in the world. It should give us enormous respect for our children, who truly are our spiritual siblings, and it should cause us to devote whatever time is necessary to strengthen our families. Indeed, nothing is more critically connected to happiness—both our own and that of our children—than how well we love and support one another within the family.
