Hi I'm Julia Lee

I love learning new things, I'm the 6th child of 12, I'm a nursing student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from California. I come from a family of 12 kids and I am number 6. That has largely effected my life. I love my family! I am in the process of studying to become a nurse. Since life is hard and no one's life is easy I feel it is my responsibility to help serve others so we can all make it through this life together. Currently though, I have paused my schooling to go on a full-time mission for 18 months in Argentina, Buenos Aires East. I can't wait to meet the people of Argentina and serve them with all of my heart!

Why I am a Mormon

I love the feeling the gospel gives me! I was raised in the church, but that doesn't mean I've lived a perfect life without mistakes. The beauty of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is that it teaches the gospel of Jesus Christ and the doctrine of repentance. We can be forgiven of our sins! That's powerful to me. God is always willing to give us a second chance, and third, and keeps letting us try again as long as we keep asking for his forgiveness.

How I live my faith

I live my life by constantly trying to be the best example to those around me. Sometimes it's hard to do what I know is right, but all I know is that I'm only going to be judged by my own actions so I just have to keep myself in the right and I shouldn't judge other people unrighteously. I understand that I have been given talents that will help me with the role I have in this life. I am always striving to strengthen these talents and find new talents I can work on. I love learning new things! If I haven't learned something new in each day I feel it has been a waste of time. I have found that everything about life is always changing. We are constantly learning and applying what we learn to our lives. It's a cycle of learning, making a change, getting used to that change, and then realizing that there are more changes to make and getting going on those... Do you see what I mean? If we are not willing to learn new things, then we are resisting the natural current that is progress. I will admit, it's sometimes hard to change, but I know that the Lord will help me with my righteous desires to become a better person and he can help me with any struggle I have.
