Hi I'm Arliz!

Just a quiet book-lover person. I enjoy baking and getting to know people. And yes, I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am a young adult currently living in Canada; but I was born in Philippines. Aside from baking and reading, I also like writing and watching shows. Im learning calligraphy at the moment and I have an interest in learning languages and musical instruments (I just lack the patience to continuously learn them).

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In other words, I am a Mormon. Why? Because I believe in all that the Gospel of Christ stands for. I believe that the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, are alive and speaking to us through prophets. I believe that They love us more than we can possibly comprehend and They have created a plan for our salvation. I believe that They provided us with scriptures such as: the Old and New Testament, The Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price; that we may have guidance as we go through the challenges of our lives. I am a Mormon because having a relationship with God and learning of Him gives me hope, strength, and peace.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by applying the gospel principles I learn into my life. I strive to gain more knowledge and testimony about Christ; that I may be able to have it as a foundation of my very being. I live my faith by attending my church meetings and keeping the Holy Ghost by my side. As well as, by keeping the commandments of the Lord. I am currently serving as a ward member missionary; where I get the chance to work with the LDS missionaries in sharing the gospel. I live my faith by repenting of my sins and constantly asking for and following the Lord's guidance. I do all these because I love the Lord and I trust Him with all that I have.
