Hi I'm Jacob

I am the youngest of 4. I am serving my mission in Aguascalientes Mexico. I rely on God and Jesus Christ. I am a mormon.

About Me

I was born in the bay area of California and I moved to where i currently live when I was 2 weeks old. I was born with ptosis of the eyelids (droopy eyelids) and had to have eye surgery a couple times because of it. I grew up enjoying soccer and later learned to love tennis. I like to sing and sometimes I like dancing. Math and science come easy to me, so I decided to major in mechanical engineering. I am a funny person who has a strong belief that all need to hear the message of the gospel of the gospel of Jesus Christ. There is a power in this gospel and not just this, but our very souls depend on it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in a mormon family. As I grew up and learned the doctrine of the gospel, I started to learn for myself why this church is true. I really started asking questions to know for sure if this church was true when I was sixteen. The event that really testified the truth to me happened about a year later when I received my patriarchal blessing. I had many questions and worries about my future and my capabilities. All of my questions were answered and resolved that same day when I received my patriarchal blessing. I thought about how there is no way a man who I barely even knew could know exactly what I was thinking, doubting, and questioning. Now, every time I think about why I am a Mormon and why this church is true, the only answers I can think of are "How can this church not be true? And if is true, how can I not be a Mormon?"

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example for others. I try to think about how I would want to be treated and treat others the same. I dutifully teach the families in my ward through home teaching. I share my faith with my friends and coworkers when I get an opportunity. Most people who know me know that I am a mormon.
