Hi I'm Loretta M Nichols

I am a Mormon and was baptized in 1970. The Missionarires knocked on my door tracking on new move in's. I grew up in Fresno, CA.

About Me

I have many Gifts and Talents! I was a hairdresser after I graduated from High School, performed Clog Dance routines for a coupe of years in early 80's. In 1985 graduated from Clown College, and retired after 25 years! Also, retired from government Ancillary work of 25 years this past February! I have been a Certified Massage Therapist for the past 13 years and found it to be my true passion, now retired! I love to make all my family quilts. I think being an extrovert and happy has been a real blessing in my life. I have two brothers that had joined the Church in the mid 60's, but they let me find the Church on my own. My mom joined a few months after me and a twin sister 10 years ago. So when we often have our family reunions the cousins can share their gifts and talents too. (Many talent shows!) I grew up on a family farm of 30 acres and learned that hard work was a way of life. My children have blessed me well by attaining college degrees and stable family traditions, knowing that the Church is the foundation of a heathy and happy family. I have learned service is the key to my joy.

Why I am a Mormon

I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the True Church! The Holy Ghost has revealed this truth to my heart and soul. I know there is a Living Prophet, President Thomas S. Monson, that leads and guides the Church today. Joseph Smith was the chosen prophet to bring the restoration of the gospel back in this last dispensation of times on the earth. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are the deity of Heaven as one in purpose. Jesus Christ is the only begotten of the Father and has sacrificed, bled and died for our sins, then was Resurrected on the Third day. He lives and has prepared the way for us to return to our Heavenly Father, to live eternally with them and our families.

How I live my faith

By service to my church and community I have lived a happy life. I have been a part of the children's programs for the majority of church service. Several happy years of working with the young women and being in leadership positions and church camp excursions! As far as community service, I was involved in coordinating farmers markets, parades, town hall meetings in the early 90's and most recently the pass few years with 5K Cancer Run committee service. Work related service was in organizing health fair events over the last 11 years. I have moved many times in my adult life, meeting many thousands and sharing my happiness with my fellowman. I want to be a good example and live my life as Jesus would want me to do.
