Hi I'm Clip Jr.

I enjoy playing the piano. I was an Air Force medic for 4 years. My wife and I have 5 children. I'm a nurse and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was an Army brat growing up. I was born in what was West Germany. We moved around a lot. We visited some famous places in Europe, and painted on the Berlin Wall. I served 2 years as a missionary on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. My wife and I met in Idaho Falls, Idaho. I'm a nurse. My wife studies genealogy, attending college online. I play the violin and really enjoy playing the piano - mostly classical music.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up Mormon (LDS) and chose to read the Book of Mormon at a young age. Each time I read the Bible and Book of Mormon I gained a stronger belief in and understanding of Jesus Christ. As I grew, so did my testimony of the Book of Mormon and the prophet Joseph Smith. As a boy scout I pledged to do my duty to God and my country. To me that meant serving God through missionary service for 2 years. Then it meant serving my country as a medic in the Air Force for 4 years. Now it means serving God by being the best husband, father and citizen I can be.

How I live my faith

I've spent several years serving in the Boy Scouts of America. It's really enjoyable to see youth learn, grow, and change for the better. I currently teach a Sunday School class for adults. I play the piano and organ for meetings at church. I enjoy reading about Jesus, but often find my deepest feelings show up while listening to music. Our family also enjoys spending time in the yard, planting trees, growing a garden and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit.
