Hi I'm Brandon

I'm a Utah boy, a Missionary in the New York Utica mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a geek. I love science, biology, and learning about how the world works. I'm fascinated with the ocean, although growing up in Utah means it's a long distance relationship. I will (and do) frequently eat ice cream at any given hour of the day. I was on a competitive Ballroom Dance team in high school, which means instead of being good at sports, I can do a BotoFoga blindfolded. I love to draw. When I stay up too late, it's usually because I am messing around with a pen and a sketchbook. Eating ice cream. I want to travel- see the world, and learn. I'm learning how to follow God's will, and finding joy as I share His message with the world.

Why I am a Mormon

Jesus Christ lives, and died for my sins. Without Christ, man would be helpless- drifting farther and farther from happiness. But I'm not. The gospel grounds, reassures, and strengthens me. I'm happy, and I know that true joy is to be found through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know my purpose; why I am here, at this time, in this place, and what to do because of it. I know that I can be with those I love- my friends and family- forever, even after I die. It assures me and gives me peace, but knowing that this life is only a part of my existence and journey helps me to see the importance of the gospel in my life. The choices and decisions that I make today have a lasting influence on my eternity. I am accountable to God for the things that I do with my life, and that makes me choose and make decisions that are in keeping with His will.

How I live my faith

I'm living my faith by sharing the message of Jesus Christ. He lives, and loves me. God is my father, who knows who I am, and He wants me to live with Him again. These statements are equally true for every one of us- God's children. This knowledge has eternal effects, and changes the way I live. That's why I live my faith, because I need God.
