Hi I'm Nathaniel Folkman

Son of God, lover of family, cherisher of friends, liver of life, feeler of the arts, and searcher of the truth. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Where to start? My interests are quite diverse, extending all the way from 19th century literature to personal health and wellness. Environmentally I've been exposed to music and the arts my entire life, and through this exposure have developed a deep love and appreciation for them as a lifestyle and a passion. I love to write the contents of my heart and my mind, while endeavoring to keep them at balance with one another. I set much store by philosophy, I am intrigued with psychology, and love the analysis and interpretation of human interaction. I have the heart of an adventurer, and earnestly believe that the truest life, even the one that wields the most power, is the life filled with endeavor and beautiful adventure. I believe that the human heart is a thing of goodness and a treasure of potential. But after all these things are said, I can only say that my heart belongs to God. I wish, in the end, that I will be an instrument in His hands. I wish to be obedient to Him in all things, because I know in my heart that obedience brings power to act. Obedience brings power to change. Obedience brings power to bless. I wish, in the end, to know I've given my all for Him who gave His all for me. I want to share His love, and help the world to see the goodness in life. To see the goodness in faith. To see the goodness in God.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have gained a testimony of the Book of Mormon as another true testament of Jesus Christ. My testimony stems directly from the Book of Mormon and from my belief in a loving Savior. I also believe that a loving God would never leave us alone and without a source of comfort and guidance to look to, and like is said in Amos, God manifests His will through the mouths of prophets just as He did then, and as He will always do.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to love those around me. I try to always remember that we are all children of God, set here on this earth to help one another grow and learn, so that we may one day return to live with God again. I once heard that obedience is the first law of heaven, and so that's what my life will be.
