Hi I'm AndraLee

I'm a slam poet, an actress, and outdoor enthusiast. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors, music, Sundays, people, and all kinds of weather. I enjoy to writing, reading, camping, singing, dancing, eating, sleeping and playing soccer as well as four square. I'm a high school graduate and plan to attend college once I return from my mission to New Jersey. If I didn't have this gospel I would have never made it to where I am today

Why I am a Mormon

Many times I have felt completely lonely, afraid, stressed and broken down so far that everything has seemed completely hopeless. This is why I'm grateful for the gospel. Every week I am able to take the sacrament and am able to listen to numberless testimonies and strengthen my own. I truly love Sundays because I can refocus a clouded lens, clear up the picture, and remember that my Father and Brother have their arms extended with loving eyes, always willing to stand by me no matter how far I've gone astray, all I have to do is turn toward the light and ask for help and I'll receive comfort and peace as well as hope for what will come., I am given the hope and strength I need to progress in my own life and in God's eyes. I'm so incredibly grateful for this gospel and my call to serve the Lord in New Jersey. I love my Savior and know that He lives, that we are all children of the Most High God, our loving Father in heaven. He keeps us safe and shares the way to pure and everlasting happiness in revelation to us through prophets, teachers, leaders, family and our own individual revelations. I have read the book of Mormon and testify of the principles it teaches and the revelation it provides, that it is the word of God and will bring us joy and hope as we read and follow its teachings. I'm grateful for the temple and for the blessings of eternal families. I have a testimony of prayer that it is direct communication with our Father in Heaven. We will always have hard times, but I know that we are never alone and through the atonement of Jesus Christ we will find happiness in all things.

How I live my faith

I attend church meetings, activities and love to attend the temple every week. I currently participate in a committee to reach out to and serve and befriend those who may feel less accepted, are having a bad day, or just need a helping hand or a friend (compassionate service committee). I have previously served as a representative for the youth of my ward and stake, participating and learning about family history work and sharing it with others (stake youth family history representative. Alongside these callings I have served in youth class presidencies and have been able to strive to live as a righteous deciple of Christ.
