Hi I'm Angela Stout

I was born and raised in Utah. I am the 12th of 13 kids. I study English at Utah State University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at Utah State University studying English and I hope to become a high school teacher. I have been called to serve a mission in the Nevada Las Vegas Mission speaking Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church with most of my family and extended family being also actively involved. When I moved away from home to college, I increased my scripture study to figure out my place. I've always known the Church is true but I wanted to have a better relationship with my Heavenly Father. As I read the Book of Mormon and prayed more, I started noticing His hand in my life and the blessings that come from living faithfully. I decided to serve a mission and have been preparing since. As I started working toward my mission, I was faced with a lot of opposition. Instead of becoming angry, I turned again to God and I received peace. I better understand His love for me and I know that He will guide me when I ask for help. I know this Church is true. We do believe in Christ and that He lives. Because of His sacrifice, we can repent. We have a Heavenly Father who loves us. I know this. This is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I travel home most weekends so I attend church meetings at my home ward. I have been called to serve a mission in the Nevada Las Vegas mission where I will be spending 18 months living solely to preach the gospel.
