Hi I'm Daniel

I am from Ohio. I recently received my mission call and will be serving in the Brazil Natal Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play basketball all the time. It is by far my favorite sport. My ward basketball team went undefeated and won the championship in my last season before I graduated from high school. I really like to play video games (mostly sports games). I play the tenor saxophone and I absolutely love music. I am the second youngest of six (I have two brothers and three sisters). I have been accepted to BYU and will be attending in the fall of 2018, after I serve my mission. I will serve in the Brazil Natal Mission and will be speaking Portuguese. Both of my parents served missions, as well as both of my brothers.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the Atonement and healing power of Jesus Christ. I am far from perfect and I often make mistakes, but I know that, through Christ, I can repent and everything will be okay. I have experienced so much growth through his teachings. It seems like every time I read the scriptures I find something new that I can apply to my life. Many of the faults in my character have been improved through Christ's teachings. I know that whenever I make a mistake, Christ is there to help me recognize my mistake and help me to recognize what I can do better. I always come out a better person. My heart is constantly being changed through the power of the Holy Ghost. I love the peace I receive when I follow the teachings of the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by helping in whatever way I can. I have gone with the missionaries to many lessons and given them rides to places. I often drive some of the youth in my ward to activities, and I try to help them when they have problems. I was the president of most of my classes throughout my youth. I helped with a TON of planning for various activities and I made sure that everyone knew all the details.
