Hi I'm Ksyenya

I grew up in Idaho. I'm serving a mission in the Central Eurasian Mission. I'm a Mormon..

About Me

I started playing volleyball in 7th grade. I haven't stopped since, and my whole family enjoys playing it together. It gives us a chance to learn how to get along! I started playing the piano when I was five and I am so glad I did. I use my talent all the time; to accompany singers, play duets, solos, or even just to play to make me happy on a sad day. I was homeschooled for most of my schooling and I felt that it helped me be better prepared for college. I love English and reading and analyzing books.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? I have found that nothing in this life gives me more joy than obeying the commandments of God and growing and serving in the gospel. I've grown up my whole life being a Mormon and I can remember countless service projects with my church. I feel closest to God when I am thinking of others, serving them, and trying to act as Christ did. The Mormon church strongly believes in service. And in serving others, I come to love them. Being a Mormon helps me love people and see them as God would. I know that Jesus Christ atoned for all of our sins. I make mistakes every day, but I know that as I repent, partake of the sacrament, and strive to be better, that Christ's atonement will make up for where I lack.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each day by doing what I know to be right. I am a part of Institute, which is a religion class and fun place to be for young adults. We get together for games and food a lot and we also learn about Jesus Christ and how we can be better people every day. I love institute! I also get to help organize games and activities for people my age in the church where I live. We do service, eat food, play games, go on trips, and all of it is awesome because I can be around people who help me live my faith!
