Hi I'm Zach Stroud

I grew up in Florida, I'm currently serving in the Taiwan Taichung Mission, and will go back to BYU afterwards. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born and raised a member of the LDS (Mormon) church. Before my mission, I attended BYU in Utah and I absolutely loved it there. In high school I was apart of the #1 ranked lacrosse program in the South for, and I won two state championships. I have one brother and one sister, and both are heavily involved in athletics. My parents love us lots, and we love them. I am currently serving as a full-time missionary for the Church in the Taiwan Taichung Mission, speaking Mandarin Chinese.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I Mormon? This is a fantastic question which can sometimes be hard to answer. Nobody forces me to live my life the way I do, the choice is 100% my own. It's not always the easiest decision to make, but I know for a fact that when I allow the gospel into my life, I am a happier person, inside and out. I know that through living the way God wants us to live, we can be better, more loving people, and more productive members of society. Life can sometimes be hard, and through His gospel I am able to see the light and overcome any difficult challenge.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day by being an example of God. I live the standards of the church even when nobody else around me is doing it. I graduated from four years of early morning seminary, and I attend church every week. I served as a teacher in church and taught lessons of the gospel while I was attending BYU. I try to share my testimony of Jesus Christ and His church with everybody around me. I know that through His gospel and this church, true eternal happiness can be achieved!
