Hi I'm Granger Nguyen

I grew up in Houston where i was raised in the church. I love fishing, horseback riding, kayaking and meet new people! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hey Yall! I was born and raised in the great state of Texas and the church. Both of my parents are half Vietnamese and half Caucasian. It is pretty amazing since I am currently serving my mission in Cambodia and Vietnam, so i get to learn a little about part of my roots. I grew up playing basketball. Basketball was what helped me learn attributes like leadership skills, focus, and a desire to be great at things I set out to achieve. Growing up, my family was always an outdoors family, so my weekends were filled with a lot of adventures. Being able to be around nature and do things like camp, fishing every weekend, horseback riding, going to the beach, kayaking, and many other great outdoors activities with my family helps me greatly appreciate nature, mother earth, and every living thing that our Heavenly Father created.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because through the Book of Mormon, and the truthfulness of this Gospel, I have a testimony that i can proudly share to anyone. I know that God lives. I know that Joseph Smith was our modern day prophet who spent his days serving the Lord and others till the very end where he sealed his death with his Testimony. I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for us, that allows us to be able to live with him and our families again after we leave this earth. I know that the first step to Eternal Salvation is through Baptism by someone who holds the priesthood of God himself. I know that Joseph Smith received the Priesthood through the power of God. I know that these things and Eternal Salvation is for everyone on this earth. This is why I am a Mormon and is why I will ever deny this church and its teachings.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to magnify my callings the best. I am currently serving a full time mission in Cambodia Phnom Penh Vietnamese speaking mission. I love serving others. It brings me joy to be able to spread the blessings i have received to others. Even though my family goes on a lot of trips and outings, we make sure to be at church the next day. I love this gospel so much and am so grateful to be able to be apart of this truth. I love reading the Book of Mormon, and love sharing it to others. My purpose for these 2 years on my mission is to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and his Atonement, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.
