Hi I'm Nate

I've lived in Utah my whole life, I love riding Dirtbikes. I'm a Mormon

About Me

A little about me I love movies. When i'm bored movies are kind of my go to thing. It's hard for people to name a movie I haven't seen haha. I graduated highschool in 2015 and attended a semester of College before going on a mission. It's true what people say, high school was great but college is 10x better. I also love riding dirt bikes. I hate working out but this is the funnest workout I can think of so it works for me. Biggest thing I've crossed off the bucketlist would have to be skydiving. If you ever get the opportunity take it. There is nothing like it. I love my family, I love my friends, and I love the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon church, my whole family are members so I've never really known anything different. I was always just taught you're supposed to go to church on Sunday, don't do drugs, don't drink anything that could be harmful to your body. Most of it kind of went in one ear and out the other. I guess you could say i was a mormon because my family and friends were. I never really paid attention to it until the final months before my mission. I was not in a good place with myself. I can honestly say I would not have been going on a mission if the Lord hadn't have changed me. Realizing a mission was so close I had a reality check which was kind of a slap in the face. I knew I had to change but I couldn't do it alone. I started getting into the habit of reading the scriptures. Normally I never could keep up the habit but this time I really strived to understand it's teachings and through faith and prayer I understood so much more than I ever thought possible. I started listening in church and started paying attention to everything that was being taught and said. Why am I a Mormon? Because there is nothing in this world that brings me more joy than this gospel. The fact that I can be with my family and my Heavenly Father forever even after death it makes life so much more meaningful. I see some of my family members who have fallen away from the church and you can tell there is something missing in their lives. All the joy and happiness was just forgotten. I don't know if someone's actually reading this but I can honestly say with no doubt in my mind that this Gospel is true. Families can be together forever. You will see loved ones again who have passed on. Joseph Smith is a Prophet of God and he translated the Book of Mormon. Jesus took upon himself all our sins so we can live with God again. Heavenly Father hears your prayers and Loves you more than you can even imagine. Have faith. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by continually striving to be as happy as I can. I had a friend once who told me happiness isn't a choice. That is so wrong. If you're not happy you need to make the necessary changes to do so. Every minute spent being unhappy is 60 seconds of happiness wasted. Currently I have the calling in church of teaching the 4 & 5 year olds. I had taught the 10 year olds before but I love teaching these little guys. Their childlike faith and innocence brings so much joy to my life. It's definitely the most rewarding calling I've had up to this point in my life. I strive to be the best example I possibly can wherever I am, because you never really know who's watching.
