Hi I'm Megs

I grew up in Provo, Utah. I am a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am in love with things and people that are beautiful. I love photography, playing violin, playing piano, singing, playing guitar, reading, watching good movies, and talking. I love learning about and experiencing different cultures. I love people. I am a college student working on a major in psychology. I am going to get my mission call sometime in the next few weeks. I love this gospel and can't wait to share it with others!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon for my entire life. My parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, etc. for quite a few generations were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Although that did have a huge influence on my choice about whether or not I wanted to stay in this church, it is definitely not the only reason I chose to stay. I have seen God's hand in my life too many times to be able to deny it for even one second. I know he loves me and all of his children, even when we don't make the best decisions. I know he wants me to do my very best in life. I know he pushes me so I can learn and grow. I know the Book of Mormon is the truest book on this planet and I have grown to love it very much. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that he translated the Book of Mormon through the power of God. I know that Jesus Christ suffered for us so that we can return to Heaven again. I know that through his atonement we can be made clean of our sins and we can change for the better. I know this is His true church on the earth today. I am so grateful for my knowledge and the hope, peace, and comfort it brings me. This gospel has given me strength to do more and be more than I could on my own. I love this church and I am so grateful for its influence in my life.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in a teaching position for the adult women of my ward. I also am involved in the service opportunities that are available to me. I have the opportunity to specifically watch out and care for two sisters in my ward and I have grown to love them very much.
