Hi I'm Brooke Darton

I was born and raised in Utah. I love to make people laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah and have lived here my whole life. I am the oldest child of four children. I grew up playing volleyball which was a whole lot of fun and really helped me to learn the importance of working hard to grow stronger and to be better. I love to cook and bake. But my favorite thing to do is to make people laugh! If I can help make someones day brighter by making them laugh then I feel like I've done something good and have helped to lift someones burden in some way.

Why I am a Mormon

I know God lives. He hears and answers each and every single one of our prayers. There have been moments when I have knelt down in prayer seeking for help, searching for answers. But when I willingly poured my heart out to Heavenly Father in humble prayer He heard me. I could feel Him near me providing comfort and strength... and each time my prayer had been answered. Prayer is our opportunity to communicate directly with God wherever we may be and whatever circumstance we may be in! It is so important to just keep praying no matter what. If we do this we will receive guidance. Just keep praying! I know and have felt for myself that our Father in Heaven loves each and every one of us! He sent His only begotten Son to the earth to sacrifice Himself... for us! ("For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." -John 3:6.) He knows each of us by name and He will never forget us. ("Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me." -Isaiah 49:15–16) I know that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is always with us. He is constantly there strengthening us and comforting us in our times of need. He has felt our pain and experienced our joy. And He came to this earth, lived a perfect life, and then sacrificed himself so that we may have to opportunity to not only live for all eternity with our Father in Heaven again... but live like our Father in Heaven. I know that we can live with our families forever thanks to the Plan of Salvation which our Heavenly Father has created for us. I am so grateful to be a member of this gospel. I know that this is Christs church upon the earth today. I wouldn't trade this gospel and the knowledge it has given me for anything.

How I live my faith

I am currently preparing to serve a mission for the church in Berlin, Germany. It has been a dream of mine to serve the Lord on a mission and I can not wait to get to Germany and to love and serve the people I meet there.
