Hi I'm McKaela Vonasek

I was born and raised in Northern California. I am now going to school at Brigham Young University. I'm a Mormon

About Me

My name is McKaela! I was born and raised in northern California, and grew up as the youngest of eight in my family. Growing up, I spent a lot of time with my family camping, playing games, boating, and having family activity nights at least once a week. I grew up and left home to attend Brigham Young University so that I could study Dental Hygiene and Rec. Management. I love hiking, backpacking, and anything to do with the great outdoors. Playing grass, sand, or court volleyball makes me happy in every way! Life is GLORIOUS, and I love every bit of it! There's nothing more I love than to get to know new people and talk about life experiences. Plus, I can make some pretty delicious s'mores!

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because it has brought me the most joy in my life. Being a Mormon has given me the knowledge that I will be able to spend this life, and the life after this with my family who I love more than anything. God has a perfect plan for each and everyone of us. I know that my Heavenly Father wants the very best for me, and being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has made me a happier, friendlier, better version of myself. I am SO grateful!

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. I try my best to live in such a way that would make Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ proud. I set goals to go out of my way to help those in need and give service to anyone I can. While living in Utah, I was able to help others feel welcome at church and other church activities by reaching out and getting to know everyone I could.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

McKaela Vonasek
THE PURPOSE OF LIFE IS TO HAVE JOY! We chose to come to this earth to gain a physical body to learn and grow! We are all given differences to find strengths and learn patience, kindness, and humility. When we chose to love ourselves and others, we experience happiness. When we love others, like our friends, families, and neighbors, we form relationships that help us in life and throughout the eternities! By being better, and doing better, we are able to share experiences and empathy to others so that we can help one another on our journey back to be in the presence of our Heavenly Father.
