Hi I'm Yukina

I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. I'm going on a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love spending lots of time with my family and friends. My hobbies are drawing, singing, soccer, and volleyball. I am currently just working and hope to attend college some day in the future.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church and I am still attending as a young adult. Being a member of this church had blessed me so much, I am able to be an example to others and learn so much form other. I am grateful for the Book of Mormon, it has helped me with my trials, that I have over come. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the true prophet on this earth in this last dispensation. That His teachings, if we follow them, may help us to return to our Father in Heaven. I know that the Atonement of Jesus Christ works that without Christ we have the opportunity to be cleansed so that we may enter into the kingdom of the Lord. I am truly grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I am a participant in the ward choir and enjoy it very much, I am currently a teacher for the class of the 4 and 5 year olds. They are always excited to learn about the gospel. Being a teacher in Primary has been a huge blessing in my life.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Yukina
I have learned that through daily personal prayer you can receive comfort form your Heavenly Father. Just talk to Him, tell Him how your day was, the problems you are having, let Him know how you feel. When asking Him for something you may not get your answer right away but He will answer your prays, I have no doubt about it. Another thing that helped me and still does is scripture study, when you think you have read enough keep reading. You might come across something that helps. Lastly keeping the commandments and surrounding yourself with good people helps a lot! Being in the presence of those who are happy gives the Spirit the time and place to be with you.
