Hi I'm Eva

I'm an extrovert, camper, writer, and music lover, but best of all I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently 18 going on 19. I'm in that weird phase between being a teenager and being an adult. I'm 1 of a family of 6. I have three siblings much younger than I am; the closest to my age being 6 years younger than me. I love art, music, writing, public speaking, and outdoor activities. I also have 8 goats, 7 ducks, about 10 chickens, and one dog. I love animals, but they're a lot of work that's for sure! I'm a pretty sociable person and enjoy making new friends. In my spare time I enjoy going out with friends, sitting down with a good book, and being with my family. I started doing cyber school when I was in 7th grade. I liked working at my own pace and graduated a year early. That's just a little about me. :)

Why I am a Mormon

There is no other place that houses the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The peace and the joy that I receive from the knowledge I have cannot be found anywhere else! I'm a Mormon because I've felt the Holy Ghost testify to me that Joseph Smith really was a prophet of God! The truths taught in the Book of Mormon are real and are truly for our day. I am blessed continually by the knowledge of current prophets who lead and guide us! This gospel really answers the questions of life! And what questions I do have that are unanswered I know the Lord will reveal to me in His time when I need the answers. To sum it up the joy this gospel gives me and the reassurance of the Holy Spirit are why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

One of the biggest ways I live my faith is reaching out to others. When I was still in the youth program I made friends with new youth whether they were younger and just joining or just starting to come to church. I know how daunting it can be coming into a place filled with people you don't know. Now I try to reach out and introduce myself to new faces in any aspect at church, work, or anywhere really. Something we do a lot are service projects. The best way to serve God is to serve others! I could do a lot better at serving but I try. Another way I live my faith is by sharing my faith with others. I have such joy from the things I know I want others to experience that joy! My faith grows stronger as I share with others. Sometimes it's just a friendly reminder that God loves us, or a reassurance that he answers our prayers. I'd say those are the two ways I live my faith the most.
