Hi I'm Maddi

I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm 20 years old, I am so Junior at Brigham Young University in Provo, and I am studying sociology. I am the 6th of 7 children of 5 girls and 2 boys. I was raised by my mother and father in the same house I live in now; lots of great memories here in Orem. I love volleyball, piano, guitar, Italian food, singing (especially in the BYU Women's Chorus), and composing contemporary Christian music.

Why I am a Mormon

The message of the gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is one of hope. It brings such a joyful eternal perspective that tells me why I'm here on this earth and who I am capable of becoming. The doctrine of eternal families and the atonement are at the center of God's plan for His children, and I would not be able to navigate this world without the clarity and comfort I get from this church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to act like Christ on a daily basis. Whether I'm at school or with friends, I always strive to love like Christ, remember Him, and bear testimony of Him through my actions. I am so excited to live my faith by going on a full-time LDS mission to the New Mexico Farmington mission for 18 months. That will certainly be a solid opportunity to live my faith constantly, and spread the word of the gospel to those I come in contact with.
