Hi I'm Sister Villalobos

I'm currently a missionary serving in the McAllen YSA Branch!

About Me

I am currently serving as a full time missionary in the Texas McAllen mission. I love watching movies and listening to vinyls. I enjoy hiking and camping! My favorite places are Zion's National Park and Moab, Utah. Music is essential to my life haha I play the cello, piano and the guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the fact that we have a living prophet today! As we look back in the Old Testament and the Book of Mormon, we see all these miracles and revelations given from god to the prophets and how amazing it is that there is one today in age! It amazes me and it brings me soo much hope that no matter how much bad is in the world, if we follow the prophet, we will be led back to the presence of our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. I love how we can progress in the gospel. If we put all of our trust in our heavenly father, he can make us the person he wants us to be. He can make more out of us, than what we'll ever make out of ourselves (:

How I live my faith

Institute has really helped me increased my faith. I never really grew up wanting to serve a mission but I did have a strong testimony on seminary/institute. After High School, I realized that it was up to me to really decide if I wanted to go to church and continue progressing. A friend of mine wanted to attend a "Mission Prep" class with me but I kept telling her that no matter what, im not going on a mission. I am sooo grateful that I attended that class with my friend. I learned that the gospel is sooo simple! From that moment on, I felt the promptings of the Holy Ghost to go on a mission....and here I am! because I went to Institute, I had the faith to come on a mission and serve my heavenly father.
