Hi I'm Jacob Turner

I'm a Mormon and grew up in California. I'm getting ready to serve a Mission in Richmond Virginia!!

About Me

I'm very humbled and honored to serve the people in the Virginia Richmond area, being able to teach people the ever lasting gospel and about our great master, redeemer, Jesus Christ and the infinite love he has for them. I hope to do my very best while I am on my mission so that I may please my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. A little bit about myself I love playing sports, I was blessed with the opportunity to be able to go to the junior Olympics running the 400meters in track my junior year of high school. It was an awesome experience. Sadly, I pulled my hamstring my senior year so I was not able to go to the junior Olympics that year, but I'm grateful for the opportunity I had. I recognized that there was something greater for me though, to be able to serve the lord. I also took part in singing for my madrigals class at my school.

Why I am a Mormon

How grateful I am to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. I have a testimony of it from the gift and Power of the Holy Ghost which we call the comforter. He gives us that peace and comfort to know that our infinite master and redeemer Jesus Christ loves us beyond our own understanding, that we are able to come unto Christ and repent of our sins and mistakes we make in our lives so that we may be clean and live with him again in heaven for eternity.

How I live my faith

Leading up to my mission, I've always tried to represent the Lord by setting a good example for my friends, coaches and teachers in school. I demonstrated that by being obedient, doing what I was asked to do and doing my very best to always have good grades. I have done the same to represent the Lord in my church callings as well.
