Hi I'm Danielle

I grew up in India, Papua New Guinea and New Zealand. I am an artist. I am also a Mormon.

About Me

I love art! I paint, I draw and I photograph. I have my degree in Visual Arts, majoring in Sculpture. I love the outdoors, and I love meeting new people. I am also a convert to the church, it has been the best decision I have ever made.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a strong testimony that there is a God out there. I know Him as my Heavenly Father. I know His Son, Jesus Christ. I know the sacrifice He made so that I could be free of pain and live with my Heavenly Father again someday. I know these things not through wishful thinking or because I so badly want them to be true, but because I have a personal relationship with God. He answers my prayers, He shows me how I can be a better person, He feels my pains and my sorrows but He also rejoices at my happiness. I have never found this relationship anywhere else except here, in this gospel. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

Since I am the only member in my family, it is often hard to live my faith openly, but there are things that I can do such as read The Book of Mormon and say my prayers everyday, attend church on Sundays and other meetings. I have had responsibilities in the church where I get to look after and help the spiritual needs of young women between the ages of 14-18. I also have responsibilities to teach and serve sisters who are 18 years and over, we call them the Relief Society. Since my family aren't members of this gospel I try to answer any questions they may have about my faith, openly. It is difficult sometimes, but it's my religion and I want to share it with them.
