Hi I'm Michelle

I am a college student at BYU, and I've lived in both Idaho and Minnesota. I enjoy helping and listening to others. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I like to read books, that is one of my favorite things to do. I mostly read mainly fantasy and science fiction. Although I do love old classics like Dracula, Hunchback of Notre Dame, anything by Jane Austin, and the Sherlock Holmes series. Along with the classic books I love classic movies. They are interesting to watch and I love those old actors. I also love to learn about different things. I will try to read anything that I can get my hands on just so I can learn about it. Right now in college I'm studying applied physics. I hope when I graduate I will be able to go into forensics. I'm also into learning about different people and what their beliefs are. I always love to find out something new. As for activities, I know how to square dance and also a little bit, not much, ballroom. I like the outdoors, in particular, I love to go hiking and swimming.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony of the existence of God, the Eternal Father, and his son, Jesus Christ. I grew up in the church, and I have always felt them near to me. I have prayed about the truthfulness of this church and I have received my answer. I know that being a member of this church is what my Heavenly Father wants for me. I know it is his church and that he guides and directs it. He is directly involved in the church, and helps it get to where it needs to go. I know that the Book of Mormon is inspired scripture and that it tells of ancient prophets on the American continent. I never had a good conversion story, like we some times hear, but I do know that what I've been taught my whole life is the truth. I have prayed about it and I know for sure that I have received my answer.

How I live my faith

I love helping and serving others. I get to see those I serve and I learn to love them. I then can understand better the love the Savior has for all of us. I am also going to serve a full time mission for my church. I have been called to serve and am excited to serve and teach the people of the place I'm called too. My last calling in the church I in charge of getting word out to the members of our ward concerning the different activities our ward was hosting. Along with that I was called to visit two sisters in the ward and help them with what ever they needed help with.
