Hi I'm Eli

I like to mountain bike, downhill ski, and kayak the whitewater. I'm currently serving a mission in London, England. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love a whole plethora of things. I've been kayaking for about three years, biking for the same, and skiing since I was probably eight. I've played the piano for over a decade, and I have a russian tortoise named Fred. I have a loving family of six, and I love to spend time with them. I like to watch movies, eat good food, and learn about world cultures. I love to play Super Smash Bros, write stories, and listen to loud music.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that my gospel is true. I have seen and felt the positive effects that come with having a knowledge and an understanding of doctrine. I know Christ lives and loves all of humanity, knowing each of us personally, and knowing what trials we face every day. I am a Mormon because I love the freedom that comes with following the commandments of God

How I live my faith

I get up every morning to read scriptures and pray with my family. I go to church on Sundays and listen to the words of living prophets. I live in a way that is in accordance with the doctrine of the Gospel and I know that doing so blesses me. I avoid R-rated movies, as well as Coffee, tea, tobacco, and alcohol. I use language that helps me keep a positive attitude about the things around me. I like to spend time with the other members of my ward in activities during the week.
