Hi I'm Kawena Kuamoo-Mendiola

I live on the island of Hawai'i. I endure the trials we are given even in paradise. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Kawena. I was born and raised in Hawaii. Rugby has been a huge sport that I cherish. It has taught me discipline, to be self motivated, and to work well with others. My family has been a big impact on me. Their love and continued support in all and everything that I attended Notre Dame College in Ohio for a year. After that year I had the impression to serve the lord. I have been called to serve in the Japan Kobe mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this gospel. I am a convert and there's so much things in my life that I've seen to help me for the better. My family has been and continues to be blessed tremendously. Im grateful that we always have someone to turn to when we need help. Im thankful for our lord and savior Jesus Christ and his example to love as he did. I love how we have a plan to return back to live with our heavenly father. Also how we were meant so much to him that he would send his son to atone for our sins. Im thankful for Joseph Smith and his curiosity on which church is true. There's just so much in the church that goes hand in hand with the teachings of the gospel. The holy ghost also affirms to me that this church is undeniably true. I know he has a plan and we are here for purpose.

How I live my faith

I hold a calling in our church under the primary. Primary is a place for children 3-12 years of age. I hold the role of teaching our 3 year old sunbeams. I also help out the nursery (3 years and younger) children when my help is needed. I also attend the temple as much as I can.
