Hi I'm Jonathan

I grew up in Brigham city Utah. I play the violin. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I work as a chef in my families restaurant. In high school I enjoyed playing sports, especially lacrosse. I have played the violin for six years.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up, my father wasn't active in the church, and my mother took us to church every Sunday. It has been very hard on her, and she has questioned her testimony at times, but has stayed faithful in attending church. I have grown up knowing the church was true, and it was cool to see how life was like without the Gospel for my father and seeing all the trials he has gone through, and also seeing the other side and how being a member is such a blessing in our lives. I have loved seeing the healing power the Atonement has on my life personally, and as I am about to serve a mission I hope to be able to see that change effect the lives of those that I teach, and see how as new converts attend church, how their lives are blessed.

How I live my faith

As I have advanced in the priesthood, I have served in many callings. I was the president of my deacons and teachers quorum, as well as first assistant to the bishop. While I was first assistant, I was put in charge of a couple major events. The first was our stake A.P camp. While I was on the committee for A.P camp, I attended meetings every Sunday that lasted from one to two hours for about six months. A lot of preparation went in to this camp, and it turned out very well. For our Stake youth conference, I was also placed on the youth committee where I attended meetings every couple of weeks, and that camp also went well.
