Hi I'm Mark Perry

I was born and raised in the Bay Area, California. I'm going to serve a mission in the Korea Seoul South mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in raised in Fremont, California (Bay Area). I have been an athlete my entire life always looking for new challenges and trying new things. I have participated in soccer, rugby, water polo, and swimming. I worked hard in all of these disciplines and achieved many of my goals. One such goal was swimming in the California State Championship Meet where I swam a top 5 split in the state. Since then I have attended both BYU and BYUI which were incredible experiences as I continue to work toward a degree in business management! I am currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Korea Seoul South Mission. I love the people that I serve and love this gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church for many reasons. However, the main reason is that I know that my Savior Jesus Christ died for me, all my sins, and all of my transgressions. I know this because I have asked for myself. It was a difficult process but the blessings that I have received throughout and since are worth all the hardships that it took to get to this point. I love my Savior and He loves me. That is my motivation each day struggles come my way.

How I live my faith

My religious beliefs have shaped the person that I am today. The way that I live my life every single day is a direct representation of what I believe and what I hope to become in this life. As a member of the church we strive to in short, be more like Christ in our actions with other people and in our private lives. I have tried to do my best to do what Heavenly Father has wanted me to do. One of those is serving a full-time two year mission for the church in the Korea Seoul South Mission. I do my very best to treat the Korean people the way that Christ would have me do. I love sharing this happy message with these wonderful people.
