Hi I'm Mitch

I am From Washington, I grew up in Utah, I am a Mormon

About Me

I live in Utah, I love the outdoors, fishing and camping are two of my favorite things. I also really enjoy sports, Such as; Football, basketball, Track and field, and golf. I love writing and hope to be a teacher one day.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in Utah for most of my life, most people associate the LDS religion with Utah, and they aren't wrong to think a good chunk of the population is LDS. I like to try to be an individual, I never enjoyed church, probably because this religion is so popular here. I was quite rebellious growing up and I found myself growing further and further away from my heavenly father, my decisions were not consistent with his teachings. Because of this, I became very unhappy and I believe That is why I struggled with depression for sometime. I was given an opportunity to visit some places that are very significant to our church, I went with an open mind, but I was pretty certain nothing would change. I was wrong, The spirit that I had felt in these places overwhelmed me, tears poured down my face, I had never felt such a powerful feeling of guilt followed by an even more powerful feeling of peace as I changed my heart and placed my sins in the hands of my savior. I know that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ, and I know that the prophet Joseph saw The Father and The Son, I know that the Book Of Mormon is the truest book on this earth today, I know that our Heavenly Father is our literal father and he loves each and every one of us, I know that our Savior died for us so that we may have peace and return to our Father in Heaven one day, and I say these things in the name of my Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I will soon be leaving my home in Utah to serve the people of Chicago for 2 years, I have been called to serve a mission there.
