Hi I'm CeCille

I grew up in Utah. My husband and I have 6 children and 17 grandchildren that fill my life with happiness. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in a family of 8 children. I met my husband while going to college. I've been lucky to be able to stay at home and be a mom to 6 kids and be involved in their school and activities. I've also enjoyed serving in our community and assignments in our church. Now that I'm a grandmother I love spending time with my grandchildren! I like to garden, sew, hike or go walking and read.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a good Mormon family. We were always actively involved in the church. So I received teachings and example from good parents. As a teenager I came to know for myself that Jesus Christ knew me and that this is His church on the earth again today. Through the years my faith and trust in the Lord has increased as well as my knowledge of the Lord's plan for us. I know Heavenly Father wants us to be happy and I feel that living His commandments is the way to find true happiness. I'm grateful for this church that helps us, and our family, stay on that path in such a troubled world.

How I live my faith

I try to remember Christ, His teachings and example and try to follow Him. I don't do it perfectly but I know that I can repent and keep trying to improve. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and is patient with me. I try to come to know Him better by scripture study and prayer. I go to church every Sunday and it builds me up and helps me recommit to do better the next week. I have taken many different assignments in the church. The most recent one was teaching a 7 & 8 year old class which I really loved. Also I try to serve other people if I can lighten their load or bring a smile. That's what Jesus Christ, our Savior, would want me to do.
