Hi I'm Colton McOmber

I was born in Salt Lake City and have been a Mormon my whole life.

About Me

I like to work out and stay in shape. I love animals and have a dog named Ivy. I like to spend time with my family and friends. I am currently leaving to serve a mission for the LDS church in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe the Church is true. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I know Jesus Christ is the son of God and he died for our sins. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet and I know that President Monson is a prophet. I know that the church was established to help us return to Heavenly Father's presence if we follow his commandments. The church teaches us about what is right and wrong and how to do what is right. It teaches us to love our neighbors and treat them as we would treat family. It teaches us to love our family and to strive for eternal families. I am so thankful for the gospel and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I go to ward activities and church meetings. I participate with others my age in different service projects and activities with the community on behalf of the church.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

You can contact missionaries in your area or a local ward or stake. You can find out who they are by calling the church or going to the LDS website. Show more Show less
