Hi I'm Patrick Golding

I grew up in Goldendale Washington. I like computers, sports, motorcycles/ATVs, the gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young adult figuring out work life and working through college at my own pace. I like computers and technology because you can make them do cool things. I have played basketball from second grade through high school and into today; basketball is my favorite sport. I love riding motorcycles and ATV's. I was born to a family that lives the gospel of Jesus Christ and was taught the gospel throughout my childhood years. I moved away from home at age 18 and took a break from being an active member of the church to figure out who I am. I came to realize I love my family and I know the gospel will help us live together forever with God the Father and His son Jesus Christ in harmony and happiness. I am easy going and wish for others to find the fullest joy in their lives, whatever they perceive that to be.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to be. "We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may." (Pearl of Great Price, The Articles of Faith Chapter 1 Verse 11) I love my savior, Jesus Christ, and when I keep His commandments I feel happy. When I am able to share and experience that same happiness with family, friends, or others, I feel full of joy.

How I live my faith

Every member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is asked to volunteer their time and services to help one another. We refer to this service as a calling. I live my faith by accepting callings, attending church services and meetings, discussing and sharing my testimony and thoughts with those who wish to hear it, and praying to my Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ as well as studying scriptures as regularly as I can. All these things help me to serve others and find happiness.
