Hi I'm Jacob

I was born in Las Vegas. I performed in Carnegie Hall. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play the piano, the trumpet, and the French Horn. I love to listen to and play music. I also love to be outdoors. Currently I am serving in the Ghana Kumasi mission and enjoying the Ghanaian people and culture. I love to help others and to put a smile on their face. I love my Savior Jesus Christ and his Atoning Sacrifice.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon church, but in my teenage years I questioned whether or not this was right for me. I prayed day and night for weeks without an answer, then one night as I prayed about the church and the Book of Mormon, I heard a voice in my head say, "It's true. You've always known that it's true. Why do you doubt what you know to be true?" Ever since that day, my faith in the gospel has grown and I've found a deeper love for my savior and Heavenly Father. I know that this is God's true church. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith Jr. translated it by the power of God. I have seen the power of prayer in my life, from searching for an answer to protecting the ones we care about. I know, without a doubt, that this is God's true church, and I will declare his word until the day I die. I love this church. It has saved me from a life of pain and sorrow and given me a life of happiness and joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it daily. I'm one of 2 LDS employees at my work so I'm often able to answer questions or explain misconceptions that many of my coworkers have about our faith. I've found that the best way to share the love of our Heavenly Father is to serve those around us with a smile.
