Hi I'm Nichelle

I was born and raised Mormon but fell away and found my way back where I'll forever stay. I'm a mother of six. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of 6 children, yes I gave birth to them all:). I was born and raised into the church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, and Honestly, I didn't appreciate it or maybe it was just that I didn't have a testimony because I chose every direction but the right one. For some reason I've always been that girl that never trusted that a fire was hot, I wanted to get burned to believe. Then maybe even dance around by the fire for a while. I was Inactive throughout My life, and when I finally got my act together I sealed to a man who I had been with since I was 12 years old. The relationship was rocky and abusive and I eventually fell away again from the gospel and was even excommunicated. After years of despair, sorrow and emptiness, I found my way back to church and during that time met my now husband of 2 years. I was re-baptized and was recently sealed in the Oakland California Temple to my eternal companion and my children. It was beautiful and I worked so hard to make it to that day so when I was able to be sealed to my husband who I met 4 years ago when he was raised a strong Catholic, I felt victorious!! Lol it may seem as though I have it all figured out..and I'd like to say that I do. But I don't. What I can say is I know with out a doubt in my mind and heart...That if we follow the commandments and choose the right, then we will be able to receive all the blessings that Heavenly Father has in store for us. He is real, he loves us, and wants us to be happy!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe, and have faith that Joseph Smith was visited by Heavenly Father and Was to to join none of the churches and received revelation for the Organization of the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am Mormon because no matter which building I am in. I always feel the same spirit that presides in our church, and that's truth, love, and peace. I am Mormon because I have tried to be something or someone else and every time I come back! I love being Mormon

How I live my faith

I attend church regularly and I'm on the Commitee for organizing our women's meetings once a month to make sure all us sisters can unite, and my husband is the secretary in the priesthood. We love our callings!! Our oldest daughter is 14 and she participates weekly in youth groups and also was a part of the churches annual Bell Choir. My 12 and 8 year old both participate in the scout program for the bous there age.
