Hi I'm Brad

I am a Mormon. I was a baptist until I was converted and baptized at the age of sixteen along with my mother.

About Me

My name is Brad, I am married with four children and eighteen grandchildren. My wife and I have been together for forty five years including our dating. We were high school sweethearts and still are. I recently retired from a career in law enforcement, which is very demanding at times and is certainly an occupation in which the gospel is very helpful. It was certainly a blessing to have the gospel in my life as I was faced with the trying circumstances associated with law enforcement.

Why I am a Mormon

I moved to Utah from California when I was eight years old. I knew nothing about the Mormon faith as I was a Baptist. As I grew up, attended school and participated in various sports programs most of my friends were Mormon's. Their values and their way of life became an example for me. My mother was experiencing the same things at her workplace. When I was sixteen, my mother and I decided to receive the lessons from the missionaries and we were both baptized.

How I live my faith

I am active in my church and my church calling. One of my responsibilities is to visit a different ward in my stake or area each month and share my testimony and my knowledge of the gospel with them by speaking in their sacrament meetings. It is truly a blessing for me to prepare a talk each month as I personally learn more about the gospel in doing so.
