Hi I'm Heejin

I was born in South Korea, raised in Colorado Springs. Preparing to serve in the Washington Seattle Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in the beautiful state of Colorado with my family - two sisters, one brother, my mom and my dad. I attend Brigham Young University - Idaho and am studying Sociology/Criminology. I love the outdoors, to read, eat donuts, look for adventure, watch Parks & Rec for the 500th time, and laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this gospel to be true. I know that our living Heavenly Father is there, listening to my prayers, my silent pleadings, and knows me perfectly because He is my Spiritual Father. I know that His son, Jesus Christ, my Savior, is always right beside me, every step of the way. Through the happy times, and especially through the hard times, He never abandons me. He is always there, ready to pick me up when I fall, to love me when I feel alone, and to cheer with me when I celebrate. I know that I never have to feel alone, because I am never alone; He is always there. I have learned to lean on Him when times are tough and how He has been there for me ALWAYS. I know that I am nothing without my Savior. He is the reason I am the person I am today, the reason I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He is my older brother and I love Him and I know He loves me.

How I live my faith

Going to church every Sunday, reading my scriptures, and praying. It's the small, but fundamental things that help me live my faith. Those small and simple steps lead to great feelings of happiness and the overwhelming warmth of the spirit. It builds my faith and makes it easier for me to live according to this perfect gospel.
