Hi I'm Ammon

I grew up in Idaho, Ohio and Nevada in the United States. I'm a mythology enthusiast. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I moved around a lot growing up. I'm the youngest of seven children. I enjoy reading, but don't do it as much as I'd like to. I love animals, especially big dogs, and there's really never been a time in my life when my family didn't have at least one. I grew up watching Veggie Tales a lot. And I've never been to Boston in the fall.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, and I continue to be an active member because nothing else makes sense to me. I have had a few friends that weren't Mormon, and I really just didn't get it when they explained their beliefs to me. One friend of mine's family was Christian, but they didn't attend any church services, and they didn't really do anything different than everybody else. I can honestly say that there were times that I did consider not being a part of this church, but it could never last. The true joy and happiness that comes from living the teachings of the gospel is the greatest thing on this earth. I know that this church is the true church of Jesus Christ on the earth. And I know that the Book of Mormon is true.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday. I participate in administering the sacrament every week. I sometimes teach in church, and I have the opportunity to help in the leadership in Sunday school.
