Hi I'm Stephanie

I am part of a Liberty in North Korea rescue team at college. I love serving my community and Heavenly Father. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a second year university student. I love eating out with friends and family, especially when it's Korean food. I enjoy playing the piano and painting, but I'm still quite a novice at it. I love travelling and love taking pictures of things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a lover of science, but I realize that our knowledge of things are incomplete, and we have to make the best out of that knowledge. A professor of mine once taught that theories and laws that were created become obsolete with new information that comes about and therefore we must make new theories. However, it is inevitable for all theories to eventually become inaccurate and obsolete. However, the gospel is not this way. We can have truths and promises that are everlasting and forever. I know that I don't have to do things alone and that I can always take comfort in the fact that I am a child of God and that my Heavenly Father loves and will take care of me. I don't have to always rely on my own strength during the difficult times in life and that Christ's atonement is sufficient for whatever I may need. People think that believing in God and in the gospel is something of a blind faith, but just like science, we can know for ourselves through evidence in our lives and how the Spirit testifies of its truth. I know that I believe because I allow myself to see this evidence and receive the multitudes of blessings that come from it.

How I live my faith

I am an active member of my ward, fulfilling my callings the best I can. The current calling I have is to be a missionary and invite others to come unto Christ.
