Hi I'm Karissa

I grew up in Lehi, Utah. I love music, games, learning, and serving others. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student at Utah State University studying biochemistry, but I'm taking a break from my schooling to serve a full time mission to serve and teach the people in Georgia. I play the flute and in high school I participated in several musical groups, including marching band, wind symphony, and indoor drumline. I love music, games, books, pasta, popcorn, chocolate, and spending time with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because living the gospel of Jesus Christ brings true happiness. I know that by living the gospel and following Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ's plan of happiness that I can return to live with them and that I can also be with my family forever. There is nothing more that I want than to live with them and my family for all eternity. Even though this life is hard sometimes, Christ is always there to help us through our trials and we will emerge as an even stronger person. We just have to put our trust in him and his plan.

How I live my faith

I am preparing to serve a full time mission in Georgia. I live my faith by going to church, studying the scriptures, praying, keeping the commandments, attending the temple, and sharing the gospel. I strive to live the way Heavenly Father wants me to live and to be an example to everyone around me.
