Hi I'm Micaela

I grew up in Colorado. I play the violin. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated high school this past year (thank goodness) I started school at BYU (typical I know) in the fall. I am going into violin performance for my major. I started playing the violin at age 10. I absolutely fell in love with the instrument. I may be prejudice, but there is nothing quite like the sound of the violin. I I have decided, however, to take a break from school and serve a full time mission for the LDS church. I have been called to serve the wonderful people of Singapore. I leave January 27, and could not be more excited to serve the Lord!

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon for many reasons, but to put it simply it just makes sense! The church's principles are so clear, and shows exactly what Heavenly Father expects of us. This part of the gospel satisfies my logical side, but it is not the sole reason why I belong to this church. This church makes me happy. Every aspect of it gives me true and everlasting joy. Having the knowledge that God loves me unconditionally, and that Christ suffered for my sins and sorrows brings me the greatest joy imaginable!

How I live my faith

I truly believe that everyone's talents can be used to benefit their community in some way. I use my talent of the violin to bring the spirit to sacrament meetings, and liven up church parties. I strongly believe in the power of music, and the effect it can have on any setting.
