Hi I'm Zack W. Holbrook

I was born and raised in Utah, and was raised in the church. I am preparing to serve a mission.

About Me

I just finished a semester at BYUI, and I am studying Mechanical Engineering. Now I am preparing to serve a mission. Some of the things I enjoy doing is automotive work, I a working on rebuilding my 1982 GMC sierra from the ground up. I also enjoy being outdoors. Everything from hiking to siting around the campfire. I also really enjoy Carpentry. There are several people in my life who are professional carpenters and i have had the opportunity to learn a few things from them. I am also and Eagle Scout, and being a scout developed my love of the outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I was given the blessing to be born and raised in the church. The reason that choose to still attend church and participate in the things that the church dose is because of the joy that it brings to me and also the joy that if brings to other people. I have friends that have fallen away form the church and I have seen how much there lives have changed for the worse since they have fallen away from the church. I also have friends that have remained active in the church, and I've seen the blessings that they have received from it. I remain active because I want to receive those blessings and live that life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in the activities that the ward puts together. I always enjoyed doing different services activities that the ward would put on because I could always count on my friends from the ward being there, and it was never really work when my friends where there. It was never work because I it was always fun to be they in the environment where things were just great. I also am active in my callings in the church and with those callings I try to do them to the best of my ability.
