Hi I'm Jeremy

I was born in California, but I've grown up in Arizona since I was 7. I will be leaving to live in Russia for two years in March.

About Me

I am 18 years old and live in Goodyear, Arizona. I graduated from High School early, and currently have an Associate's degree in Science. I love video games, music, writing, and doing service. I want to become an Environmental Engineer when I finish my education.

Why I am a Mormon

I've always thought that the church is an innately good organization. I never truly believed what I was taught, though, until I started questioning the church and researching the things that I was skeptical about. Seminary was an important part of this process. Whenever I found something that I wasn't sure about in the church, I thought about the problem to identify why I didn't like it, and I would always find answers in the scriptures that would give me an answer. I know that this church is true, and that by asking questions, studying the scriptures, and praying, we can find the answers we seek through the Holy Ghost. Just like how we talk to God through Jesus Christ, God talks to us through the Holy Ghost. By preparing ourselves, repenting, and praying about the questions that we have, we can know that the answers that we find are correct.

How I live my faith

I try to understand why we are given the commandments that we have rather than taking what we are told at face value. Through scripture study and prayer, I try to let the Spirit guide me in what I do and say. I make sure to balance the gospel with my own life, and do what I can to integrate the two as seamlessly as possible and make the gospel a part of who I am.
