Hi I'm JoAnn Goodrich

Hi, I'm a wife and mother,a grandmother, a teacher, a friend, a quilter, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a pretty ordinary person blessed with extraordinary opportunities! I was raised by an incredible mother that taught service by her example every day. I attended college and became a teacher of the Hard of Hearing. I was able to work with the Parent Infant Program as it began, and watch it grow to an international program. We worked in the home helping parents and putting hearing aids on babies. I'm most grateful for the opportunity to marry a wonderful son of God and have been blessed with four children and 15 grandchildren. They are the truly the light of my life. I want to spend eternity with this incredible group of people!

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. Learning about the Savior and his Atonement means everything to me. I know he lives and loves each one of us. How this is possible I do not know, but I feel his love and see miracles that testify of this reality. There is no other way to be happy By abiding by these principles taught through the scriptures and living prophets I know we can return to our Father in Heaven and live eternally in family units This is my greatest desire.

How I live my faith

From the time I was a very small child I was taught to pray. "Prayer Changes Things." I know this to be true. God is part of our lives and wants our eternal welfare. I have been blessed to work with children, scouts, high school age young women and men, and adults through church callings for years. Many times I have felt so inadequate to accomplish the assignments I have been given. yet I have come to know that I have never walked alone in these callings. Praying for guidance I have been able to do more than I thought possible. I love being part of such a wonderful community of brothers and sisters that share their love and allow me to serve in small ways.
